FREE "Local Participation, Leadership & Recognition in Global Health Research" CUGH Satellite Session

Part of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health's annual conference, this satellite session is centered on four key papers discussing inequity in global health research and scientific authorship.
Co-author speakers are 鈥淕lobal South鈥 and 鈥淕lobal South鈥 diaspora authors of the key papers, who will hold moderated panel discussions of their papers. Speakers include Dr. Nadia Sam-Agudu, an infectious diseases pediatrician at the , UM School of Medicine, and the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria.
Additionally, speakers will explain the solutions they present and how they are to be actualized for impact. There will also be a moderated discussion and Q and A on how 鈥淕lobal South鈥 contributors can prepare and position themselves in the process of decolonizing global health research.
