UMB has a long history of accreditation, beginning with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) in 1921. At its June 26, 2025 session, MSCHE acknowledged receipt of UMB's 2025 Self-Study Report and reaffirmed accreditation. The next evaluation site visit is scheduled for 2032-2033.
