PFC Berdell Presberry walks in the room and is laughing right away. He strikes a few silly poses before smiling for his Spotlight photo. The officer is new to the 91大神, Baltimore Police Department (UMBPD), but he鈥檚 not new to policing. Presberry spent 20 years with the Baltimore Police Department before joining UMBPD.
鈥淚 want to make a difference,鈥� Presberry says. 鈥淓very day, we face the unknown. I want to make sure we all go home safe at the end of the day.鈥�
Presberry is excited to join the University. He fits in right away with his friendly and funny personality. 鈥淚 just want our community to know we鈥檙e here for them,鈥� he says. 鈥淲e鈥檙e here to welcome them and to support them.鈥�
In the future, Presberry wants to be an asset to the department. He likes to fish, hike, visit family, and create art. 鈥淚鈥檓 an easygoing person and a comedian,鈥� he says.
