Security Officer Sharonda Jeffries joined the 91大神, Baltimore Police Department (UMBPD) to try something different. After only six months in that role, Jeffries is excited to receive an office spotlight.

Jeffries says the 鈥渦nknown鈥� elements of her job can be a challenge, but she learns from colleagues and police officer to overcome those obstacles. She recommends students do the same: 鈥淪tay focused, avoid distractions, and take breaks when needed. Never be afraid to be yourself!鈥�
Outside of work, Jeffries does event planning and likes to take pictures. She says she鈥檚 learning to be a professional photographer. In the future, she hopes to become a successful business owner for mental health awareness.
