Governance over this communications plan and its recommendations, policies, and procedures involves several individuals within A&F as well as OCPA. This structure serves to identify the primary roles, responsibilities, and authority over communications practices throughout the department.
| Role | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| SVP/CBFO | Strategic messaging approval |
| Senior Communications Specialist | Editorial oversight and planning |
| Division communication liaisons | Content development and coordination |
| OCPA | UMB brand compliance / media relations |
Day鈥憈o鈥慸ay editorial, scheduling, and coordination decisions fall within the authority of the Senior Communications Specialist. Strategic messaging, branding changes, and department鈥憌ide communications priorities require SVP/CBFO awareness or approval, as defined in this plan. When timelines, branding interpretations, or priorities conflict, issues will be escalated through the Senior Communications Specialist to the SVP/CBFO and, when appropriate, OCPA.
