OSVP Communication Plan
A Division of Administration and Finance
Implementation Timeline
Several elements of this strategic plan require further development. As a result, several phases of implementation are identified. These phases include:
- Phase 1: Define the objective and outline the A&F Communications Identify strengths and weaknesses of existing communications practices throughout A&F. Commence efforts to create, enhance, or modify website content. Finalize website content for most A&F divisions and units.
Research branding opportunities for A&F template use in programs such as Adobe, Canva, etc. Socialize strategic plan throughout A&F. Research options for obtaining a dedicated A&F section in The Elm, and develop plans for the creation of an A&F Annual Report.
- Time Period Anticipated: By December 2025
- Phase 2: Identify additional needs in support of department’s communication Explore a centralized communications structure for A&F using multiple, existing positions throughout A&F. Establish communications “best practices,” with a focus on innovative forums and processes.
- Time Period Anticipated: By September 2026
- Phase 3 activities related to expanded social media engagement are deferred due to current policy, staffing, and platform constraints. This phase may be reconsidered if institutional policies change or if sufficient resources become available to support sustainable social media operations.
The overall communications strategic plan implementation timeline, which began in 2025, is anticipated to conclude in 2026.
